Formosa’s GRT range redefines the small boat market by offering the toughness of a plate build in a compact package. Designed with innovation as a core principle, this small plate range showcases Formosa’s trademark strength, stability, and internal volume—all wrapped in a boat that’s easy to handle and unique in Australian waters.
Built with 4mm 5083 high-tensile aluminium for the bottom sheets and sides, and fully welded top decks, the GRT range is far superior to the typical pressed and stitched production tinnies seen across Australia. The boat’s generous V-hull, large beam, and big negative reverse chine provide exceptional strength, performance, and stability. High sides offer ample internal freeboard, complemented by clever storage solutions, making the GRT range perfect for those who want a robust, affordable boat that outperforms its size.
