The Formosa Enclosed Half Cabin is designed with a fixed cabin, featuring a glass windscreen, two side sliding windows, and an open connection to the rear deck. Ideal for overnight stays, this cabin layout includes cushioned bunks for a restful sleep and large storage areas for all your essentials. The cabin offers an open-plan experience, while awning rails are welded to the hardtop structure, allowing for the addition of canvas or clears to enclose the cabin if desired.
The Enclosed Half Cabin features cushioned bunks with a centreboard, carpeted walls for added comfort, a large hatch for easy access to the anchor well, heavy-duty handrails, and seven rod holders for your fishing needs. The open design of this cabin makes it versatile, providing both comfort and practicality for family trips or fishing expeditions.
For added driver and passenger comfort, the Enclosed Half Cabin includes two embroidered, high-back Bolster Seats, mounted on Aluminium Seat Boxes—now included as standard. You can choose between storage hatches or an open esky provision for your seat boxes to best suit your needs. For extra security, you can upgrade with an optional Lockable Cabin Roller Door. Additionally, an underfloor 80L auxiliary tank for fuel or water is available for boats 635 and above, offering added convenience for extended trips.
Standard features of the Enclosed Half Cabin include four aluminium rod holders on the gunnels, a folding rear lounge, Single Access Active Transom, a large aluminium bowroller, 32mm handrails, Tow-Catch™ Trailer capability, a heavy-duty dive ladder, quality steering, a moulded fuel tank with sender and filter, automatic bilge pump, transom deck tread, foam-filled hull, electrical harness kit, and three cleats. The boat is finished in white paint with Formosa graphics, giving it a polished, modern appearance.
Formosa boats are known for their stability at rest, and the Quad4™ Water Ballast system further enhances this feature, especially in offshore conditions. From March 2023, the Quad4™ Water Ballast will be included as standard on all new Enclosed Half Cabin orders.
